Jessica and I found boucoup generation one ponies! First, we found Parasol at the Miluakee Thrift Store Thrift Store, and then we found AN ENTIRE G1 CARRY CASE covered in sanrio stickers from the 80s, full of g1 ponies at the Unique Boutique Thrift Store on Diversey! I remembered/found an old gift card from two Christmases ago with $15 bucks on it for Barnes and Noble and ordered a used copy of American Psycho the book, by Brett Easton Ellis. Have you read this? You’ve seen the movie, right? (There’s a Patrick Bateman look a like that comes into Chipotle sometimes, and its one of Fook’s favorite movies, too.) That was all on 223, though.
On 2/24, my actual birthday, I worked until about five and had a panic attack before I left because I’m easily overwhelmed at times and I was scheduled off at 3:30, but no one told me how late I needed to stay it was just … assumed? ANYWAY It was freezing rain and cold outside so we didn’t go anywhere; we stayed inside and played hide and go seek… Blains was it for the first round, Jess was it second, Hilary third, and I was last. First round I hid on an end table as a lamp w/ a lamp shade over my head. It worked surprisingly well. Second round I hid behind a frying pan on top of the fridge. Hilary hid behind the Colt45 life sized cardboard cut out of Snoop Dogg and no one could find her! “Works every time,” she said.
Hide and seek worked up an appetite so we braved the weather to go to the taqueria at the end of the block, La Cocina. So. Delicious. Blains had the pastor which I sampled… it was incredibly good!!! Pork is best for mexican style cooking, I think, because its fatty enough to absorb all of the different seasonings.
Erry day we talk about how awesome its going to be when we come to see you. Hilary says she’s told you of these plans, but in case you didn’t know we are saving up for a trip to Vidor, if you’ll have us. We wanna see the beach and spend hours drawing and looking at ponies and thrifting and Hilary wants to meet my mom lol so yeah let’s do it!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!! MY BODY IS READY. We don’t talk alot but you’re one of us, so its like you’re always here. Weird. <3
Oh yeah and also on 2/23 we went to the Wormhole coffee shop, which is 80s themed with a real live dolorean and everything yeah a car in the coffee shop… we went there and drank tea and coffee and I almost beat Mario Bros 3 on their oldskool floor model television set, because this coffee shop has a nintendo and games so come to think of it you and Jeremy should probably visit us at some point, too, because its rad here!! :D
